I believe anyone who wants to join the Army should be able to do so. It's not something I would do myself, but, to each his own. Obama's forgive and forget approach has never served him well, not once. The cynic in me believes they are only repealing DADT because they need all the bodies they can get for the two wars. I also think that Obama does not want his name on ANYTHING to do with those "icky" Gays... I have always sensed that Obama is completely repulsed by the idea of homosexuality because like many str8 people, he can't get past the sex part...

As a Gay man, I can tell you right now, not many in the LGBT community will be fooled into thinking this is Lieberman's idea.
